My Project

This virtual seminar helps the participants unpack the complex web of intersections that form the Queeribbean subject establishing the subject as both place and person. This seminar prepares students to be active allies. Students will be able to use the historical background of the Caribbean islands examined in this workshop, and see how the intersections of race, class, gender, ethnicity and age produce the intersections of a Queeribbean. Students will apply this knowledge in their interdisciplinary courses in the 2nd semester. The workshop will be held during a seminar day using a Zoom conference.
