This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It’s that time again, time to start a brand new school year. Being a school social worker is a rewarding and exciting experience that I love more and more every day. Social-emotional learning (SEL) is a very important aspect of the work that I do with my students, and I am hoping to obtain certain materials that will help my students to develop the social-emotional skills that they need to help them overcome barriers that make it difficult to learn. My goal is to use these materials to help my students understand their emotions, develop empathy, self-regulation, gratitude, focus, etc, all while having fun! My students mean a lot to me, and having these materials on hand would help me to help them better.
