My Project

In our classroom, we strive to create a peaceful and welcoming environment. However, there are times that students need help expressing themselves in a positive way.

We are asking for sensory items such as fidgets and flexible seating to help each student learn to their best abilities.

We know that students learn differently and we want to make sure that we accommodate each and every student.

We are also using these items to create a calm corner in the classroom where students can go to take a break and reflect on how they are feeling. The more social emotional support they get, the better they will be able to express themselves in healthy ways.
