My Project

As the school counselor, I proudly support over 600 students in grades PreK-5th grade with discovering themselves through social-emotional wellness. My students represent a wide variety of socioeconomic levels, learning styles, and cultural backgrounds.

These students come from low-income families with the majority dealing with trauma, abuse, and/or poverty.

I am here to support all my students by having activities that will get them re-focused. The Fire tablets will allow my students to work on social and emotional lessons electronically as this way of learning is appealing, fun, and engaging to most students. Supporting my students with the other items outlined in this project will allow me to address their social and emotional needs and assist them in achieving their academic goals and reaching their maximum potential, not only in the classroom but in everyday life.
