My Project

Some of my students have a hard time regulating emotions. They lack self-awareness and interpersonal skills. These types of difficulties impact their ability to function in a busy school setting and succeed in both social and academic settings.

My students are in need of some hands-on activities that promote and build social-emotional skills. 

Tools such as the hand2mind See My Feelings Mirror, help provide biofeedback while presenting my students with visual examples of emotions. This hands-on experience will help prepare them for social situations. The Bad Seed book series teaches students about appropriate social behavior. Teachers Pay Teachers has a variety of resources that will be educational and effective for my caseload. They provide social stories or icebreaker activities that my students enjoy. Thank you for considering donating to my project!
