My Project

I am requesting the book kit because we have a similar book already and the children love it. Having additional similar books will make them interested in reading about emotions. The props to go along with the book will also help them to be more engaged in the story and practice what each emotion means. The sorting kit is great for practicing matching and allowing them the chance to recognize emotions. The bean bags will be a fun way to practice recognizing them as well.

My goal for this project is for my students to be able to recognize at least 2 different emotions and what they mean.

I want them to recognize what it feels like to be happy and be able to see it in others as well. I think this will better prepare them for life and give them valuable tools.
