Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students use folders to organize for their classes on a daily basis. I would like to incorporate this organizational tool in our social emotional groups. I offer social emotional learning groups weekly, by grade, for numerous students. Students learn coping skills, reflect and engage in mediational activities.

This semester we will focus on organizing our worksheets and notebook entries into one place that is easily accessible.

Students will be able to reflect and review their learned coping skills from week to week and as they need. Coping skills need to be practiced and reviewed, just like core subjects, to help us better our mental health.
