Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help us gather some supplies so that we can create artwork around social emotional learning topics and character building.

Books like Sophie Gets Angry introduce students to portray how emotions feel, and create art that portrays emotions through their artworks to get more understanding and objectivity of their emotions, and how we can be mindful and choose to shift our emotional trajectory.

We incorporate practices like mood meter and character traits, social, emotional learning is a wonderful topic for Artworks and past classes have greatly benefited from these soft skills learned through Art.

Art supplies will be used in our art classes to create identity masks, portraits, sculptural masks and collages celebrating our heritage.
