Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every day my students face challenges, whether that is at school or at home. After COVID, we began incorporating Social Emotional Learning (SEL) into our daily schedules to help our students feel comfortable and at ease with their day. The SEL journals in this project are AMAZING! I have used them with past classes for our morning SEL time and it made a big difference on the classroom climate and how students interacted with one another. The SEL journals are broken up into weeks where students answer questions and do activities to promote their social and emotional health.

Due to budgeting, our school cannot afford 60 workbooks for our 5th graders.

Because I know these make a huge difference, I am asking for donations to this project to offer SEL to my students in a way that I know will be consistent and a routine in their day to day life.
