This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am looking to create a calm down corner for my students. A lot of the children I work with have a difficult time regulating their emotions. I have some tools to help them but often when they get to familiar with a specific tool to help them calm down it no longer works. I put a variety of different tools that I think will help students take a moment and reflect on what they are upset about and to help them reset. I would appreciate anything that you could support with!
