Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are amazing! They are eager to learn and participate in new activities; however, the lack of materials holds them back. They were learning remotely last year and that has impacted their social and emotional awareness. My students have different abilities that makes each one of them special. My students love when I read to them. They have been learning how to deal with their emotions and trying to use their words instead of getting frustrated and shutting down. The social emotional books will expose them to a variety of techniques that they can use to help them communicate their needs and wants with their peers, teachers and parents. The Teacher Pay Teacher gift card will help me give them amazing resources to assist them as well.
