Social-Emotional Learning Through Sensory Art

My Project

More than half of my students have special needs and my 4- and 5-year-old students could use a variety of art and sensory materials to reduce stress, build creativity, and build strong brains!

Students will use a toy truck to paint the track, sensory beads to create art pieces, colored form sensory paint, texture brush, or spray bottle to paint.

In addition to stimulating creativity and increasing the brain's plasticity, students will learn how to self-regulate their emotions and reduce stress through creating art and having sensory experiences.

Art is for everyone. Students will freely express their feeling and emotions safely through art using sensory materials.
