This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help provide art supplies and tools to help my students learn about social emotional skills and strategies through art. During our Social Emotional Learning time my students will be working on creating art to learn about topics such as empathy, Courage, Creativity, and Kindness. Through Art they will be able to learn about a growth mindset too! Art can be very scary at first but once they learn to turn mistakes into masterpieces and learn to adapt with those mistakes they will learn to look at those mistakes through a different lens. They can then transfer that learning to other aspects in their educational career.

Art will help students learn about about many Social and emotional coping skills they can use throughout the year, such as patience and turning mistakes into masterpieces through art!
