This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I intend to support students with increased social emotional learning skills, including additional books to enrich their understanding, calming tools and access to fidgets. I hope they feel that my office is a space where they can destress. I am looking for a better way to take notes and remain organized in all my meetings that support the needs of many students. My students care about one another and often stop by my office to help each other. I am proud to support so many kids and watch them share their strategies with others.
