My Project

3rd graders are naturally loving and increasingly social. They flourish when given chance to develop the tools in their social and emotional toolkits.

What better way to help them develop these crucial skills than through reading?!

With these books and manipulatives, students will be able to develop their literacy skills as they become more confident, empathetic versions of themselves. They will read about how others show gratitude and kindness. They will see characters their age grappling with similar problems that they face. They will discover new ways of interacting with the world, without needing an adult to instruct them.
