Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal is to provide to my students with ADHD and behavior issues resources to assist with SELF-CONTROL.

My students often struggle with some aggression issues, being still, staying focused, and staying engaged.

We are trying to provide them with the necessary and vital tools to allow them to succeed. Our students are also learning how to interact with one another, take turns and accept praise/reinforcers when showing positive behaviors. The fidget toys box, expandable balls and magnetic tiles/figures would be great reinforcers. The books, social skills and therapy activities, such as the 600 PCS Building Blocks and the board games, would provide my students with real life experiences that will be taught, practiced, and then hopefully occur independently. The sensory items, such as the Bouncy band and foot roller, would assist my students focus while keeping their wiggly bodies busy, The laminator sheets are to create our laminated daily morning work.

By providing the students with resources, such as games and team building activities in the requested storage units, they will be able to learn how to work together, get to know each other, and provide kindness to their peers. These resources allow my classroom to be a space of growth!
