My Project

Students in early childhood special education are experiencing school for the first time to engage in early intervention skills in speech, language, and socialization.

Help our classroom increase the resources to learn about different feelings and constructive ways to express them.

This project will provide a library of preschool-level books discussing feelings and social skills. Additionally, it will expand our calming corner basket of tools to use when frustrated, angry, or sad. Lastly, the Cricut machine will allow us to create materials that align with the contents of the books.

The investment into social-emotional learning sets a foundation for students' success in later years of school and life.
