My Project

I requested books and games with SEL themes for my counseling group and individual sessions with students. As a School Social worker with lower elementary grades I see how they are engaged when they learn through play. The students will work with me and peers in counseling sessions to practice skills they'll utilize throughout their day. The students will practice emotional regulation skills, conflict management, social skills, and feelings identification among other SEL topics. My students are bright and resilient students, too many have personally or witnessed adverse circumstances.
