My Project

In my classroom, I believe that the social & emotional wellbeing of my students is a top priority. My students are kind, funny, resilient, loving, hard-working, and so, so smart! As a special education life skills teacher in South Philly, my class is small, but mighty! Over the past year, I have watched them work so hard to make progress not only academically, but socially as well. This upcoming year, I am hoping to provide them with books that will support their growth especially in the area of Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

I work with students with a wide variety of disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disabilities, and more, that require extra support to develop these invaluable skills.

These books will help them learn to identify emotions/develop self awareness, promote positive self-esteem, teach coping skills/strategies and so much more!

Ms. Molly Universal Alcorn Charter Elementary School Grades PreK-2
