My Project

As a first-time middle school counselor, my goal is to create a classroom/office where students feel safe, comfortable, and calm to share their difficulties in and out of the classroom. These posters will enable my students to practice coping skills, and learn ways to regulate and engage with their fellow peers. In addition, to talk therapy, I intend to use art and play therapy to interact with students and teach them different mediums to express themselves! I have met the students and they are wonderful and intelligent; I am looking forward to partnering with them this school year!
