My Students

More than half of my students are from low-income families. Their young minds are sponges soaking up all the learning they can. A students' tools and environment help engage them to learn. I love to make my class bright and engaging for them.

My students work hard and try their best.

Learning to read and write is difficult, but they press on toward the goal. They are learning lifelong skills that they will use. They are a joy to teach!

My Project

Student can have choice in where they sit, at a safe distance from others. The portable, foldable, cushioned floor chairs are cozy and have adjustable back supports. The fabric is removable for easy washing. The durable wooden lap desks are perfect height for my students. Students can use the combination of the floor seat and lap desk to find a place in the room where they feel inspired to create! When students have choice, they feel more in charge of their learning and they are more engaged. The privacy folders will give student an individualized place to do work.
