Social Development Through Play

Help me give my students the gift of play. I would like to provide my school with a ball locker and playground balls for our playground. Students now more than ever need to develop social skills.

My Project

In a world filled with distractions children now more than ever need the opportunity to play. A school playground is the perfect place to play and interact with others.

The negotiation required for pick up games teaches children self management and communication skills while also providing overall wellness benefits.

The impact of this opportunity can not be measured in anything but smiles.

The mental health of our children has diminished with increased exposure to technology. Emphasizing play and social interactions benefits our children by providing unstructured play to practice social skills.
