Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Most middle school teenage students are eager for independence, curious or even transition into their later years with such zest for life and this holds true for my students with disabilities. Except, the one thing most enjoyable about this years group of students is their playful yet mischievous personalities.

My students need structured play in their routine and meaningful social engagement to allow for their social skills to thrive without extinguishing their nature to be easy-going, fun-loving teenagers!

With your generous contribution, the purchase of board games, strategy games and various sensory items will provide my students with opportunities to grow as social beings.
