Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The use of supplies will help my students with their social and emotional needs. Worksheets that are laminated and small whiteboards will help students jot down and write down ideas and create a checklist to help ensure with their thought process. The use of clay will help students be creative and release stress they may have. They can build something (tactile) with the clay. I have noticed that my students are hands on learners and this will help in the classroom. We are reading “The Glass Menagerie” and it would be wonderful for my students to create their own menagerie with the clay provided. My goal is to extend the sense of comfort in the classroom and to help with resources provided with their social and emotional needs.
