My Project

My students are working to overcome trauma, deal with anxiety, cope with difficult issues, and need tools/guidance on how to do so. These resources will help my students deal with day-to-day problems that inhibit their learning and functional abilities to make it through their school days. Some resources will also be used to lead group activities for students who might struggle with social anxiety or have social-emotional needs where a group might be more beneficial to practice those needed skills.

Helping students manage impulse control, anger management, and anxiety, among many other things is becoming a high priority in schools.

These extra resources will help in creating plans and goals for them to succeed not just now or this school year, but also in their future. The students I meet with frequently have higher needs than the typical student, and thus providing them with these resources will aid them.
