Social and Emotional Supports for at Risk Students
Help me give my students a calming environment that will lead to their social and emotional development. We need bean bag chairs and fidget toys such as the magnetic toys to help support their emotional development.
My students are defined as “at risk” and have significant emotional and social needs. The resources I have chosen will benefit my students because it will allow us to create calming corners and opportunities for relaxation and regulation. It will also provide them with a space that feels safe, calming, supportive, and encouraging, which is often what they don’t have the opportunity to feel at home.
My students deserve to feel safe and comfortable and I would do anything I can to allow that for them.
I work hard everyday for them but unfortunately my school cannot provide these specific resources for me.
