My Project

I teach high school autistic students. They often experience severe emotional changes, have difficulty completing assignments and experience difficulty concentrating. I would like to provide them with games, fun tutorials and activities that require hand manipulation, concentration and provide them with a sense of accomplishment. My goal is to use the games and activities as a award for completion of academic assignments. Games and activities also promote social engagement. The students will be required to talk, and share strategy. This type of activity with keep them engaged with each other and promotes the skills they need.
