My Students

The children I work with are 4-6 years old and our school is on the West Side of St.Paul. We have mixed ages because it is a Montessori Children's House where I guide children to their highest potential, and children learn from each other.

We are all different learners, and I want to acknowledge that and help all learners grow.

Sometimes the thing we need to help us get through the day, are social and emotional supports. Please help us learn more about our feelings and how all feelings are okay to have. We can use mindfulness and social stories to help us better understand how to work with the feelings we are having.

In harmony with their academic studies, children love learning about the physical and social world around them. We can give them that opportunity in the Children's House setting.

My Project

Social/emotional learning is at the core of education, especially at the young age of children just entering school. Many of the children in my class started their school carrier with distance learning, and let's face it, that isn't the best introduction to what school is.

I pride myself in creating a loving, caring and calming environment where children can be themselves to explore and decide what they like best about the world around them.

I have a wonderful classroom library, but there are always new and exciting titles that get me excited about reading to children, so they can better understand their emotions.

Please help me deepen my classroom library with some titles such as these.
