This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school has a diverse set of fourth, fifth and sixth graders that have been begging to play soccer. Our students are very active and involved playing soccer at recess. However, we do not have the supplies to put together a team. Our school is 100% free and reduced price lunch.

Our school is full of diverse, excited learners who need a wide range of resources and extra curricular activities to learn and grow as students.

My goal is to create a caring community where my students feel valued and have a strong sense of belonging.

Our students have been playing soccer without equipment. We have a large group of skilled soccer players as well as many students that would like to learn. Soccer is a great opportunity for students to learn how to work as a team, be active and motivated at school.
