My Project

My girls' soccer team is looking to return to the Network Finals with your help! My school has not had a girls' soccer team for the last five years, and we decided to reboot it this past school year. Soccer was a new sport to most of my players (only three out of 20 had played before), and we worked hard to understand the game, bond as a team, and win games.

We were undoubtedly the biggest underdogs in the Network and surprised everyone when we made it to the Network Finals.

Unfortunately, we lost in a penalty shootout, but we created unforgettable memories. I am requesting a new set of soccer balls for my team. Our practice area is wedged between two factories, and we have lost some soccer balls over the fence. These new balls will give us the equipment we need to start training for our next season and give my girls an opportunity to practice at home.

I had so many 8th grade students tell me they were going to try out for high school soccer after their experience this past school year. I hope to continue to instill a love for soccer and female sports in all of my players.
