Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My scholars work hard and need access to high-interest class materials! To reach my diverse learners, I draw upon strategies that promote active engagement so that all students can participate to their full potential.

My innovative scholars are in a dual-language program, learning English and Spanish.

My diverse scholars are mostly all English language learners and others are native English speakers. The program fosters bilingualism and high levels of academic achievement through instruction in two languages. 50% of our day is English and 50% is in Spanish.

The materials that I have selected will help my students have an engaging and active learning environment. The microscope will allow them to investigate through a scientific lens. The soccer net will allow students to bring their soccer inspirations to life. In addition, the other items will be used as incentives.
