Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students love participating in collaborative activities. In the classroom or outside they work together as an incredible team.

95% of the students at my school are economically disadvantaged.

While many of my students have never played organized sports, they are interested in playing team soccer.

My Project

Soccer is a great way for children to develop as individuals and participants in a team. While many of my students have never played organized soccer before, they are excited to learn its rules and master the skills.

The desired soccer equipment would enhance my students' experience playing soccer.

Putting on the shin-guards, socks, pennies and passing a soccer ball amongst friends before taking a shot on net makes soccer not just a sport, but an incredible life experience. Students will use the equipment in practices and games in which they take on other schools in our community.
