Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school is embarking on the journey of starting our first soccer team. We aim to start with Kindergarten through second this year. Part of this journey includes securing soccer goals that can help us host games on our own school field. The goals can also be used for practice to give students a realistic setting for the skills learned.

Providing soccer at our school is something students have been asking for and I want materials that will help support their team dream.

Additionally, soccer is a sport that is really popular with our population of families. Completing this project would mean so much to our kids! The achievements of our own Atlanta United team has inspired our kids to dream big on and off the field. Soccer can give students at our school a physical outlet and can be a place at school where their talents shine bright!
