My students are the founding class of the first Staten Island public school for all girls and gender expansive youth and we desperately need Physical Education equipment! Currently, we have 65, 6th grade students, but we will eventually grow all the way to 12th grade! We do have a school small, but unfortunately it also comes with a small budget.
My girls are eager and ready to learn how to play soccer!
With these soccer balls and goals, the girls will learn not only the physical benefits of soccer, but the mental and social aspects as well.
As of now, we have 1 old foam soccer ball and will use 4 small cones for our goals. I know the girls would still have loads of fun playing, but having this new equipment would not only mean the world to them but would also maximize their participation time by having more equipment!
