This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These soccer materials will be used for the Boys' and Girls' varsity soccer teams in Queens, New York. Our players come from a variety of countries and are united by a common passion of soccer. We are a small team (Queens High School Complex) comprised of three schools that continuously punch above our weight, however, we lack the adequate funding to properly provide our student athletes with the equipment and resources they need to practice their craft. Many of these students do not have the money to be part of other leagues and pay for traveling teams. With these resources you would be providing these student-athletes with a soccer experience that they may not otherwise experience. Thank you in advance for your help.
