My Project

My students are the most lovable, loving, cutest, funniest, most creative, and the hardest working little five and six year olds you can ever meet. They love to learn and they strive to be their very best in every possible way. Both their academics and their character matter to them. They make me proud every day! Every day!

My school offers a weekly enrichment program that offers students a chance to explore possible new career paths.

Once a week, each teacher teaches something outside of their academic field. Be it forensics, coding, gardening, debate, "Shark Tank", etc. all students now have an opportunity to explore their interests, passions, and new fields. Although I am presently a kindergarten teacher, my enrichment program will be sewing. Upper grade students will have the opportunity to design, sew, and eventually sell their finished products to staff, students, and the community. All profits will be given back to the school to further support the program and also to support the community.

The school has become more than academics, and I have never seen more excited energy, and I have been more excited, about the opportunities my students now have to explore their passions, talents, interests, and possible career paths. Thank you for helping to make this happen!
