This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to read. They also enjoy having a private, comfortable space where no one can disrupt them. Our classroom is divided into centers and a reading corner would be a perfect addition to our room. It would give my students a space to go when they have completed their classwork. A reading center where they can find books they love and comfortable pillows where they can enjoy reading quietly.
Reading is beneficial and opens up a new world to my students with autism.
Having this little corner in my room would help to continue to grow their love of books.
