This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are the most amazing and diverse group of kinders! We are a neighborhood school in a Title I district with a high percentage of children from low-income families. However, this does not stop them from always trying their best, or going above and beyond in the classroom community.
"I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand."
Kindergartners are curious about their surroundings and soak up information like a sponge. I want to give them everything I can to help them experience what they need to understand their world.
My Project
Once we return to schools, we will have to change the way that we use our school supplies. Having communal supplies will no longer be acceptable, as we will need to do as much as we can to prevent from spreading germs.
You can help me provide individual supplies to help reduce the spread of germs in my classroom!
This project will ensure that each student is able to keep their individual supplies in an organized case that will be kept in their individual cubbies. This project will also help families who have lost their income, not have to worry about buying supplies when we get back to school.
