Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our small K-8 school in the Bronx, is a loving environment full of caring, energetic, and creative students of all ages and backgrounds!

Now that "Snow Days" are a thing of the past -- with remote learning taking its place when the weather isn't the best -- we would love to reward students with a reason to look forward to such a day of remote work with a Snow Day in a Mug!

We want them to know how much we care about them and the work that they do, even when they are at home working remotely on their school assignments. We would love to have our students curl up with a good book on a snowy day this winter and a cup of hot cocoa! It would be amazing to know all of our little ones -- and big ones -- can have a comforting little treat from our school that they bring home and think of how they are meeting our PBIS matrix behaviors even when they are away from the school building.
