My Students

2018-2019

Snoopy and Woodstock's 3rd Grade Learning Adventures!!!!

As this school year begins, my 3rd grade students are in need of headset which will lower classroom interruptions and help students to focus more during computer centers and when completing listening activities.

This year's students will be informed how Donor Choose helped my student from last year soar on their Florida State Assessment (FSA). Due to Donor Choose my students scored on and above grade level. The three (3)Chrome computers which were donated enhance their learning through technology. My students will be allowed to play several games in reference to whatever skill(s) that we are working on. My students will also have the opportunity to use technology in a small or whole group setting.

In today's society's technology is the driving force for students daily learning.

Getting the much-needed technologies in our classrooms will help my students to enjoy learning more and engaged in learning the skills acquired.

In conclusion, as a teacher I am responsible for making sure that my students are technology equipped. We must help our students to get more involved in using technologies to prepare for the technological world in which we live in today.

My Project

The laptop charging cart and headsets that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." This home will secure and protect my students technology equipment. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The cart will allow students to access iReady, MyOwn, Accelerated Reader, and NEWSELA . These are reading programs that helps prepare students for FSA. All 3rd grade must successfully pass this assessment in order to be promoted to 4th grade. The cart and headsets will truly make out daily process run smoothly. The headsets will be used for students to be able to block out any distraction. The cart will be used to charge 24 laptop overnight and be ready for use the next school day.

The donations to this project will help to improve my students' reading comprehension.

By using these materials to aide us in the process of mastering 3rd grade standards will enhance the chance of all student passing the FSA and being promoted to the 4th grade. As the teacher, I have done extensive research and strongly feel these materials will help us reach our 3rd grade goals. Yet, Snoopy and Woodstock Techies truly need your support to make this a reality. Thanks!
