This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Basic supplies like paper towels, tissues, and Band-Aids are extremely hard to come by. My chorus and music students need to have water with them during class. This unfortunately leads to frequent spills. With proper supplies, I can take care of the problem myself without multiple calls to the custodial staff.

Colds and allergies are nothing to sneeze at!

I'm sure it is no surprise how often children request tissues. It is a never-ending disruption to have them leave the room only to use the rough paper towels from the restroom. The same could be said for the frequent need for a simple band-aid. Having all of these supplies readily available would avoid near-constant disruption and frequent out-of-room requests.
