This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

What I love most about my students is the desire they have to learn more every day, the face of joy when they arrive at the classroom in the morning. What makes my students special is that they are special education children and that does not stop them from continuing to fight for their improvement.

My Project

I am requesting on behalf of my students the necessary materials and supplies that are used to facilitate small group instruction and by staying safe from germs. We are in need of materials such as a sneeze guard in order to create a safer environment for all of us during this Covid-19 pandemic. I am also requesting the EZlifego Double Sided Tape Heavy Duty in order to secure the sneeze guards onto the students table. A face protective mask for us to use during small group instruction time. Dial Antibacterial Liquid Hand Soap to keep ours students hands cleans at all time and hand sanitizer during the day in the classroom as well.

Some students are afraid to participate in front of the entire class, the one-on-one attention they receive from small-group instruction activities can boost the confidence and self- esteem of students who may otherwise have a hard time joining the conversation.

Small group instruction activities encourage teamwork, inclusivity and collaboration. Small group instruction means everyone participates and is working toward the same goal. Small group instruction allows teachers to evaluate students’ learning strengths and tailor lessons to them.
