Sneakers for B-Ball

My Project

I help coach basketball and soccer for my school team. I have amazing student athletes who work so hard on both their schoolwork as well as playing basketball and soccer. They take the team sport seriously and want to win. My basketball team players are in different grades, and are of different genders and races, yet they all get along so well and are kind to each other and are team players. Some of my team players don't have good sneakers to play in which doesn't allow them to live up to their potential and they get frustrated and feel insecure over it.

I love my students' determination, teamwork, and passion for the game.

Coaching my high school school girls' basketball and soccer team has shown me how committed they are to improving both on and off the court. However, many of them lack the proper basketball shoes, and soccer cleats which are essential for safety, performance, and building confidence. These shoes will not only protect them from injuries but also help them feel proud and unified as a team. Providing them with this resource will allow them to focus on their skills, sportsmanship, and personal growth, ensuring they have the best possible experience this season.
