My Students

Each day, second graders depend on us to teach them how to read, write, and develop critical thinking skills that will be the foundation of their education. These students come from a variety of diverse backgrounds. We feel it is our role to provide them with a rich learning experiences on a day to day basis in the classroom.

We've made it through half of the school year and our students have been nothing short of amazing!

We're constantly blown away by their determination and stamina. Proud is an understatement. We are very lucky to teach such a wonderful group of scholars.

My Project

We made this project to help fuel our students through a long school day. Part of what helps our 2nd graders get through the day is a healthy snack in the morning. We've noticed when our students have a healthy snack they are more focused, more energized, and overall happier. We rely on parents and ourselves to provide snacks but we are constantly running out. Some parents are unable to help at this time (which is understandable) and our classroom budget is for academic resources. Any donation will help! Our students' brains and bellies thank you!
