My Project

"I'm hungry!" Students in my class often complain about being hungry, not having a snack and requesting a snack from me. At times, being hungry prevented them from focusing in class and completing activities.

The students are often always hungry.

Some due to their families’ economic conditions, some because they got up too late to eat breakfast, and some because their growing bodies just need to eat a lot. A quick snack can rejuvenate students and give them more energy for learning.

My students are almost all low income and what they eat during the day is what is served at school, which is never enough for the older students. These snacks would allow me to have on hand, something to give to students when they need it.
