Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students come to school each day with empty stomachs, and it's difficult for them to focus and fully engage in learning when they’re hungry. To ensure that my students have the energy and focus they need to succeed, I am requesting a variety of snacks to keep on hand in the classroom. These snacks will help fuel their minds and bodies, providing the nourishment they need to stay alert and energized throughout the school day.

Offering simple, enjoyable snacks like candy, fruit bars, crackers, and potato chips will allow my students to refuel when they’re feeling drained, which can have a significant impact on their ability to concentrate and perform in class.

When students aren’t distracted by hunger, they can focus on the lessons and activities that will help them grow academically and personally. Your support will help create a positive, nurturing environment where all students have the opportunity to thrive, both inside and outside the classroom.
