Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Literacy Fair is an ambitious student-led project designed to foster a love for reading and build a stronger sense of community. To make this event impactful, we are requesting donations of books and snacks. The books will provide students in the community with new opportunities to explore diverse stories and perspectives, while the snacks will create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere, ensuring participants feel comfortable and excited to engage with literacy activities.

The goal of this project is to spark a passion for reading, improve literacy skills, and provide students with a platform to share their creativity and love for books.

Beyond academic benefits, the Literacy Fair aims to strengthen peer connections and encourage a lifelong appreciation for learning.

What makes our students special is their resilience, creativity, and drive to learn despite challenges. They’ve worked hard to plan this event and are deeply committed to creating a meaningful experience for their peers and the broader school community. Your support will make this vision a reality and leave a lasting impact on their learning journey.
