Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are third through fifth graders who are full of energy. The students have adapted to the challenges thrown at them this past year and are not only surviving but thriving in this very different environment. My students come from very diverse backgrounds. They love reading diverse books, participating in maker space activities and STEM challenges, and are very curious. I have a large population of English language learners. They are eager to learn and enjoy every minute of it. They are all amazing kids!

STEM is so fun for our students to learn while doing hands on activities!

We are requesting balloon pumps and balloons for our upcoming Thanksgiving Parade as well as magnifying glasses for our map units and lastly Takis chips for when students need a snack.
