This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every year, the biggest ask from ALL of our high school students is "Do you have any FOOD?" While the needs of our families vary, it's clear that our growing humans could use more fuel to get through the day.
Our goal is to stock our snack closet so that students have access to food faster and without concern.
We want to set an ambitious goal to ensure we have enough food to cover a longer period. As the world changes, we know that having stability here provides a sense of safety that can't be overstated.
