My Pre- k students LOVE to try new foods and are learning to become more independent during meal times. For example, serving themselves, opening food containers and cleaning up when they are done eating! We serve breakfast and lunch in our classroom on a daily basis. They love to have treats in addition to the meals provided. Therefore, the snacks requested would make them so happy! Meal time is a chance for students and teachers to have conversations and get to know each other. My students love sharing what foods/snacks they enjoy at home and these additional treats could further foster the meaningful relationships we are building with each other!
